You're located at Hawaii's Most Romantic Man Contest page...

The votes are in for Hawaii’s most romantic man! The Hawaii Romance Festival, The Honolulu Advertiser and KGMB 9 have joined forces to put the spotlight on a local man, married or single, who best demonstrates romantic qualities.

Readers were asked to submit “love letters” describing their romantic man. Those submissions were whittled down to the final dozen by Matt Catingub, Grammy-Award winning conductor and host of the Hawaii Romance Festival; wife of the lieutenant governor; news anchor Kim Gennaula of KGMB 9; and singer Amy Hanaiali‘i Gilliom.

Love letters were posted online at The Honolulu Advertiser website and readers were given the opportunity to vote for their romantic man.

The four top vote-getters will receive a prize package consisting of tickets to all of the Hawaii Romance Festival events, taking place May 2-11, including romantic dinners, movie screenings and live performances by artists such as Boz Scaggs, Gladys Knight, Aaron Neville, Smokey Robinson, Sergio Mendes and Brian Stokes Mitchell. In addition, the Final Four will each receive an Ultimate Romantic Dinner, including a candlelit dinner for two, limousine service, hotel accommodations, flowers and a special gift.

"In Search of Mr. Romance" (Hon. Adv. 2/14/08)
